Baghdad, Iraq - UNDP Iraq commemorates the completion of Al-Mussaib power station rehabilitation works.  The Al-Mussaib power station, the biggest of its kind in Iraq, received over $33 million from the UNDG Iraq Trust Fund with generous support from the Government of Japan. Upon completion, the power station ensures a stable supply of 200 MW of electricity. “The project has been completed just in time to meet the peak of summer demand,” said a relieved Engineer Raheem of the Ministry of Electricity who managed this rehabilitation project.
