JP Lesotho Humanitarian

Overview
Humanitarian Response in Lesotho Joint Programme

The humanitarian response joint programme in Lesotho encompassed a holistic package of humanitarian-development nexus interventions to address the consequences of climate change-related drought. Stakeholders implemented complementary activities to rapidly and effectively respond to humanitarian needs in the areas of food security, agriculture, WASH, social protection, and coordination.

By following a rights-based approach, initiatives were contextually sensitive to the rights and needs of affected populations while also covering multiple aspects of drought impact.
